Thunder Bay – Saturday

The one good thing about a crappy photography day is that I don’t have spend several hours on my computer dealing with a large numbers of photos.

Mask photo. Are these type of masks any good?  Do they do anything to protect anyone from a virus outside of a hospital setting?

They only provide a little protection if work properly.  Few people do so.  As far as cloth masks are concerned, they are useless. The protection they provide is very much zero.

Are there any studies?  I have never seen one.

Unless you have a study comparing communities that had mask mandates with communities that did not, and I don’t know that one such study exists, then it is hard to justify mandates.  Schools especially.

View out on the lake.

Guess why this gull is called a Ring-billed Gull.

Used a different camera that allowed me to take a phot through the fence instead of over the fence.  Allows a more eye level view.

Looking for colour on a grey overcast day. Trash is always good for colour.

Yup, I’m in Thunder Bay. These cartons are worth 40 cents if returned to the Beer Store.

Beyon here are photos of the snow sculptures. If you are not interested, then stop now. You have been warned.

Skull Mountain. Even with the additional snow, the sculptures are slowly disppearing.
