Why now? Nobody cared about residents having issues getting their trash containers to the curb before the automated cart service became a thing. Nobody gave a flying ‘F” about them.
But suddenly, your high salaried residents of City Hall cares about you. Having to get your trash out to the curb and all.
I suspect the reason behind this sudden burst of ‘compassion and empathy’ is that there are now a few former trash collection employees who have nothing to do, you know, having been replaced by an automated cart service and all. Sooo, lets have them drive around the city and put residents trach carts out on the curb.
