Thunder Bay – Monday

My plan is to stop taking sunrise photos after the first day of summer, then start up again in the fall.  Sunrise is too early right now.  Screws up my day.  I want to try and get some butterflies, frogs, turtles etc.

They are still sleeping when I am out and about.

Discarded watermelon rind

We have some colour in the sky this morning

Nothing remarkable out that way

Mandatory lighthouse photo

Where all the action should be taking place this morning

There are some signs that we may have something good this morning

I hope for something…period. The last few mornings have been less than dazzling.

Things picking up out there

We have some pinks and blues.

OK…this is good.

Still a lot of clouds along the horizon.  You want the clouds to be higher up .  Still, the tips of the clouds are turning orangy red.

Nice

Lots happening behind the elevators.

Oh well, Chaos is the only word that  I can think of that describes this scene

OK…this is impressive.  Photos just do not do it justice.

Trash in context

The sun did finally make an appearance.

Clouds almost look like mountains in the background

Rain squall.

Just stuff laying next to the railway tracks

Cumerland Street work so far

Trees are getting removed.

The city grows them for a decade or two then rips them out of the ground and plant new ones.  Why plant new ones?   Seems pointless.

What you want to do is take the seat off as well.

While waiting for a bus…..

Flowers

Ants are having fun.

Dandelions are done for the year. Time for clover to take over.  Hey, that rhymes.
