Thunder Bay – Sunday

Baby gull fell out of the nest.  Can’t fly. Just walking around.  I call such birds ‘cat food’.

Sun is not as red this morning. Smoke is lighter.  Its cooler as well.

The Nook restaurant.

Better not mix them up. One sticks in your arm, one sticks in your ear. Mix them up and you have a big problem.

You know you are doing well when you can discard SAXX brand underwear.  These street urchins  dress better than I do.

Cumberland Street construction so far.

Water bottle photo

Not sure what it is.  A piece of clothing?

2026 car watch continues.  Yes, its still there.

The view out there this morning.

I feel sorry for all the women named ‘Karen’.

More media presence in the city.

Moths are not that attractive.  Not as sleek and colourful as a butterfly. They are camouflaged well.

Mayfly

Water bottle

Lots of water bottles laying around.

These were very difficult to get when I was a teenager.  You had to go to a drug store and pay the cashier for the pack. Cashier was almost always a woman.

Now condoms are handed out like candy. Free. As many as you want.

Trash in context.  Once beer started to be sold in corner stores, the number of empty cans laying around town skyrocketed.

This gull survived the ‘act food’ stage.  Did not survive an encounter with a car.
