China decided that home ownership was important. Everyone should be able to afford their own home. Houses are not an investment commodity. So they did something about it.
Why not here? Of course it all about money. The haves verses the never wills.
Why is our government not working for the people? There is lots of talk about affordable housing but that has nothing to do with owning a house. That is making rent affordable.
There is no talk about making homeownership affordable. THAT is the issue.
China is supposed to be our enemy. Communist state. Heavily shrivelled. Strict government control over the population.
Luckily, we in Canada are free. Free to not afford a house. Surveillance increasing all the time. More and more government control over the population. More and more control over information you are allowed to see/hear/spread. Remember the truckers and their supporters were debanked?
Seriously, how much of a difference is there between China and how it deals with its population and Canada?
