Thunder Bay – Friday – First Day Of May

Looks like some stuff I could use this summer.  I do have projects.

Still trying to make something of this view.

This blanket has eyes.

Its kind of freaky to see something staring back at you

What I am finding is that there are a lot of trains that block the entrance to the park at this time of the morning.

The sky this morning

Sun close to rising and I just got here.

Hotel window at sunrise

Getting close

and here it is

and then it was gone

and then it showed up again

Smell the glove

Lots of birds around now.  These Mallards got too close to the gooses territory.  The geese must have a nest nearby.

Mallards wondering what the hell that was all about.

It was very kind of the dog owner to pick their dog’s feces up. Did not follow through with depositing it in the trash. Baby streps I guess.

Male Goldeneye

Ring-billes Gulls having a meeting.

We have a group of Lesser Scaups  swimming by

  1. Lesser Scaups

The top pair might be Ring-necked Ducks.

I think these are Greater-Yellow Legs. There are also Lesser-Yellow Legs which I assume are smaller.  Hard to tell when they are not standing next to each other.  Anyway, they are Yellow-Legs of some sort.

An American Widgeon.
