Thunder Bay – Friday

Most of the time, when I take the first few photographs, its fairly dark.  I underexpose and bracket my shots so as not to blow out the highlights plus producing an HDR image with lots of exposure leeway when editing.

In other words, I have no idea what the final photo will look like.  Turns out, it looks pretty good.  I like the ice. Produces a nice foreground.

Zoomed in a bit.

Zoomed out a bit.  Not a lot to photograph at this point.

The sky is brightening. Not much cloud soo I am not expecting much.  We will see the sun. Its cold.

What I am looking at this morning.

Now the sun is starting to make its presence known.

and it peeks through

Not throwing a lot of heat though.  Its cold.

Each day the sun rises closer to the giant. Soon it will be rising over the giant as we make our way back to summer.

You know is classy wine when it comes in 1.5 litre size.  Brights soo you know its high quality.

$17.45 plus tax.   I remember those days.   Remember 4 Aces?   Branvin?  $0.95 a bottle.?  My stomach’s reacting just thinking about them.
