Thunder Bay – Saturday

Overcast with flurries. Nothing to see out there. The usual subjects.

On an overcast grey day the only colour you see is the trash laying around the city. Trash is always colourful.

Do they still sell Cragmont soda?  Safeway used to sell the stuff.

Some more colour

So close.   Coors and Lake of the Woods Lago lager. There was a time that Coors was only available in the western US. I was in Colorado when I had my first taste.

Tough being a pedestrian in Thunder Bay.  Street plows fling snow onto the sidewalk. Sidewalk plows fling the snow back. Street plows come along again and fling it back on the sidewalk.   In the meantime, pedestrians suffer.

and even if you come across a sidewalk that is clear enough to walk on, there is this.

The wall of snow at the end can be high.  After decades of snow clear technology development, we are still subject to this.

Of course, the streets are clear.  You can see where the city’s priority lies.  Cars over pedestrians.

Sooo, walk along the street. If drivers do not like it, tough shit.
