Thunder Bay – Sunday

A little colour in the morning sky

Trash in context

More trash in context

Even more trash in context

They seem to like it.

Yes, its trash in context.  Paper on the tracks.

Nice clean cut.

What it looks like out there this morning

Sail boat stuff

SV Journeyor taking a group of people who have ‘checked fun off of their lists’.

Looks like some people were sitting here listening to the Wake the Giant entertainment.

Its all over. Now it all must be taken down and put away for another year.

A plastic bag with empty cans and a beach ball in it.

Not something you see every day.

Now that is a big tent.  Better take it down or someone will move in.

No shortage of toilets.

What are the odds that there is recyclable material in that dumpster?  It does not matter as it is all headed to the landfill.  Recycling is only a thing for residential trash pickup.

McVicar Creek campers.

You gotta love them.

Why not eat the pepperoni?  I can see tossing the crust but the pepperoni?

I think this has possibilities.  What is he holding in his left hand?

Only fools place trash in trash cans.  What you should do is place it in a pile somewhere. Anywhere.  Just not in a trash can.

Is this a water bottle?   Its trash in context for sure.

Algoma Street monthly lane closure. Another water line leak.

Lots of patches in this stretch

As you can see, this is not the first time that this has happened in the spot.

Wheel rutting.  Buses have created ruts in asphalt.  What this tells me is that this pavement and the base material were not compacted properly.  The contractor that did the work on this section of Algoma Street from  Bay Street to Dufferin Street did a terrible job.  Horrible.

Flowers still blooming

The Cumberland Street/Water Street roundabout construction so far.

Still a lot of work to do
