I think of all the times that I packed up and took the kids camping in a provincial park when I could have just camped in this spot. And done it for free. Playground nearby.

Seriously? With Water Street and Cumberland Streets closed, detours everywhere, traffic funneled onto Court Street, someone decides that this is the time to close a lane on Court Street? Really?
An ordinary old style broom would have done the same work, with less dust and noise. Also, no toxic engine exhaust. Using this machine just because you have it is extremely stupid. Not an uncommon sight in this city.

Probably the most disgusting section of Court Street. Maybe the most disgusting section of any street in the city. The sidewalk and laneways that pass by the two apartment buildings and the Royalton Hotel.
There are almost always people hanging around. People sleeping in doorways. Trash laying around everywhere. Laneways full of trash and wreak of urine. Reminds me a lot of the pedestrian overpass leading to Marina Paerk.
Its awful and I have seen a lot of awful.
