This is an issue that pops up every year. Private snowplows push snow out onto sidewalks making it hard or impossible for pedestrians to walk safely. Pedestrians are at the bottom of the transportation food chin in Thunder Bay. Same thing with the war between sidewalk plows and street plow. Sidewalk plows clear the sidewalk and street plows push snow up onto the sidewalk especially at crosswalks. Many time have I had to climb over giant snowbanks just to get off of the sidewalk.
Trash in context.
Not going to see the sun today.
No steam out in the bay this morning. Warmer temps have made a difference.
Mistake-on-the-lake today
I like the patterns the ice makes when it forms
Not everyone notices.
Trash with a view
Just to show you how far the nearest trash can was. Its the green barrel in th background. The local POSs had to walk past the trash can to get out of the park. Not close enough for a Thunder Bay POS.
