There is something about watching that big yellow ball appear over the horizon. It never gets old.
and so the day begins.
Thought I would try and add some stuff in the foreground.
When you have a morning sky like this, its easy to come up with a nice shot. You can’t go wrong.
I interrupted its morning routine of going through the trash cans before the park staff empty them.
Eventually, it jumps all the way in. Getting out can be a chore. It may take several attmpts.
Trash in context. Minute Maid Fruit Punch. Lots of sugar in that drink. Might as well drink a soda and take a Vitamin C tablet. Its exactly the same thing.
A butt hunter’s wet dream. Too bad that the smokes were wet. I think they can be dried out. Six full sized smokes.
Trash in context. There were trash cans nearby but why bother. Its Thunder Bay after all. Just drop your trash anywhere. Its OK.
Someone got a nice free meal, picked out the stuff they liked and left the rest. No problem. They can always get more free food. Its Thunder Bay after all. Free food dispensaries are almost as numerous as methadone dispensaries.
Trash in context. A discarded beer can or bottle is a common sight in Thunder Bay. Parks or urban cores. Matters not. They are everywhere.
I like the shadow that the Corona bottle created.

Another example of sugary drinks masquerading as healthy beverages. The amount of sugar in these is very high. Eat a piece of fruit if you like. Just avoid the juices.
