I believe that sidewalks should have at least half of it remain as a sidewalk when it comes in conflict with a driveway. As it stands now, the sidewalk becomes 100% driveway and that creates a safety issue for pedestrians, if any of our high salaried residents of City Hall actually cared. During freeze thaw cycle weather, the driveway becomes covered with ice. This makes walking on it, which is the sole purpose of a sidewalk hens’ the ‘walk’ part of sidewalk, dangerous. Its a bad design. This city needs to get past its ‘pro car’ philosophy and take the plight of pedestrians more seriously.
Some has parked their sled here.

Might be time for citizens to get out the torches and pitchforks and rip every parking meter out of the ground.
