Thunder Bay – Friday

We got to enjoy our weekly allotment of nice summer days sooo cold rain is on the menu for the next couple of days.  Rain makes it tough to take photos sooo there are only a few today.

Double-crested Cormorant.  Rain does not bother this bird.

I have noticed a similarity between the encampment population and the number of geese in Marina Park. If the City of Thunder Bay allows the population to get established without any attempt at deterrence, the numbers increase.  And why not?

I feel that this year, there are more geese in Marina Park that last year.   There are a lot of them.  I expect there to even more next year.

Geese produce a lot of these.  Trails are a favourite place that geese choose to drop their feces.

Monday is the big day.

My mom always threatened my sister and I with getting our butts wacked with the wooden spoon whenever we were misbehaving. Her wooden spoon was much bigger than this one.
