OK, its your decision whether to buy an EV or not. Personally, I would not even take one for free let alone pay money for one. Without billions of dollars of our tax dollars being given to giant global corporations soo they can make billions in profits does not seem right to me. The billions more tax dollars that will be required to expand the electrical grid to accommodate an EV world is yet to come. There will also be billions more required to build enough charging stations to service the millions of EVs.
It would not be a surprise if our governments do not want people to be able to drive outside of cities. Outside of your neighbourhood. Fifteen minute cities. Remember, its all about money and control. Governments want control.
