Thunder Bay – Sunday

No more getting up early and walking down to the waterfront in the dark.  Not until the fall anyway.  There is still colour to photograph.  The sun has risen. The sky is orange

Sooo you get photos like this

Interesting combination of discarded items

Still nice colours

Still interesting clouds

Tug MV Point Valour

Site of yesterday’s polar plunge

Another chunk of ice that was cut out of the lake for the Polar Plunge

Last day to skate on fountain pond rink.  After today, the ice surface will not be maintained.  Ice will be allowed to melt.

Someone was trying to avoid chapped lips.

I saw several of these today. They look fresh. Not all that old.

Ice patterns

Trash in context

Kelly’s rotgut wine is on the scene.

Another discarded water bottle. What are the odds?  100% in Thunder Bay.

A discarded LCBO bag.  This one is outside Marina Park.  Unusual but not unheard of.

Arby’s. Now this is a rare sighting in the downtown core.

Snow sculptures today. Pagoda

Beaver House

You can see where the block was standing before it was knocked over.

The pieces of the Beaver House were pushed quite far.

Coin Carousel

Lighthouse. Its almost gone.

Boreal Forest. Its spread over a wide area. Its disappearing quickly.

Amethyst Crystals. It is also spread over a wide area.

The bit of snow in the centre of the foreground is what is left of a chunk of the Amethyst Crystal sculpture. It ended up a long way from the rest of the pieces.

and today’s AI art pieces…with Easter approaching….
