Thunder Bay – Wednesday

Another overcast morning.   MV Onego Otra

City of Thunder Bay is trying out some new outdoor features that are supposed to be ‘vandal-proof’.  This is one of the new ‘vandal-proof’ park benches.

Hopefully it works.  Expect to see many more of these being installed around the city.

Mandatory lighthouse photo

A hint of colour in the cloud.

Your morning sky.

When desperation sets in, I will photograph anything.

Another reusable shopping bag busy saving the planet.

I have photographed these wood chips before.  I like the patterns.

Some blue patches showing up in the sky.

The tug MV Glenada passing in front of the MV Polsteam Rudno

Trash in context

Twisted Tea  is extremely popular with your  city park drinking crowd.

Condensation bubbles are worthy of a photograph.

Warning that this product is high in sugar.

Lost shoe.

Is this building ever going to be used for anything other than a target for graffiti?  What condition is the interior?   Is there a new lifeform developing in there?

Prime Gelato.  Is it closed? Looks closed.

COVID lockdowns plus the closure of Red River Road for a couple of years and Cumberland Street construction this summer mad like tough on small businesses.

The fact that winter lasts for four months with a relative high priced product for sale, did not improve the situation.

The gelato was great.

Discarded food item.

Trash in context.

Another needle laying around.

Quite the face.
