Clear sky today. Not expecting anything fancy. Orange sky. Sun will appear. Its cold.
MV Muntgracht still anchored out there.
Large cracks now forming in the ice.
and there it is.
Plain sunrise. Nothing fancy.
Lots of colour around.
These guys are still at Keefer. MV Wicko and MV Onego Ortra
Still some ice patterns around. Nice when I can combine ice photos with trash. A twofor.
Another twofor. Trash photo combined with the view of the lake as seen from this bench. Only Thunder Bay will install a benchin a waterfront park and then plant shrubs in front of it.
Our morning sky
Christmas remnant. If you want it, its laying in the Waterfront Plaza. Might not work though.
Trash photo. People park, sit in their car and enjoy the view. Maybe listen to some music. Sip on a coffee. Then toss the empty cup on the ground and drive away. Such is life in Thunder Bay.
One of the benefits of the morning light is the shadows. Nice contrast.
I know that potholes are the bane of drivers in the spring. They do serve a purpose that few if any people know about. They act as trash cans. If it wasn’t for this pothole, that cup could have ended up anywhere but that pothole captured that cup and held it right here.
Nothing like this existed when I was a baby. If I was lucky, I was given a stick or a rock and was grateful to have them. Life was tough back then.
Geese tracks.
Looked up and noticed this.
The contrails dispersed and provided this view.
