I am not a young man. Lived many, many years in Thunder Bay and then many and many more in Port Arthur. Until a bout 10 years ago, I had never heard of this stuff let alone see the stuff laying around the city.
There was a time, not that long ago, where a person could go their entire life without seeing a Naloxone kit…period…anywhere. Now, its hard to go a whole week without seeing one in a park or along the sidewalk.
Things are looking good this morning.
Its not going to be an orgasmic sunrise but still respectable.
The pros would call these ‘dirty clouds’ but I kind of like them.
The sky we are facing this morning
The moon just before it disappears behind the clouds.
I take a lot of photographs.
Things starting to happen. The sun is now rising around the head.
and there it is
Snow thrown by snowblower onto the lake surface now looks like this after the sun has had a few days to attack it.
Snow sculptures today
Discarded clothing
Trash in context
A fork in the sidewalk.
Handed out for free to the ‘unhoused/addicted/mentally-ill’ population. Basically sugar and water. Fruit juice at a bare minimum. Could have given them a Vitamin C tablet and a sugar cube. Sane result.
Friday night’s alright for drink’n.
