What is not being told is that GOVERNMENTS cause inflation. How?  By running massive budget deficits.

Inflation is brought on by the devaluation of the dollar.  Pumping billions of dollars into the economy is how that works.

Extremely low interest rates also contributes ti inflation. It makes money cheap.

More of something lowers the value of that something.   Scarcity increases the value.

Sooo, it might sound great that the government is handing out cash to the great unwashed masses.  The problem is that the money that is being handed out has been created from nothing.

THAT is inflation.  Free money only makes things worse, not better.
