Mostly overcast this morning. Not expecting much of a sunrise soo I thought I would have a look at this one sculpture/figure. I am not sure exactly what it is. I have been told that it is Santa climbing into a chimney. I thought maybe an elf?
This is what we are facing today. A very slim line of colour along the horizon.
Over to the south.
The best photo of the morning. This sums up the sunrise very well. The clouds slowly closed that gap and the light eventually disappeared.

Had a look at what effect yesterday’s weather had on the ice sculptures/figures. The ice is no longer crystal clear. There are signs of some melting.

Yup. Seeing a lot of discarded shoes around. Someone handing out free shoes? Most that I have seen still look like they have a lot of life left in them.
Maybe I am more wear-tolerant when it comes to my shoes. I use them until they fall apart. Of course, I have to buy my shoes. I might think differently if I got replacements for free.
