More discarded clothing. Why are people donating clothing? Its obvious to me that the street urchins and McVicar Creek Camping Association have too many pieces of clothing. I see clothing laying all over the city.
Clear sky over the gaint.
Then a cloud began to move in. This will look good if hangs around until the sun gets close to rising.
As I thought. Nice reds
Clours spreading out
Colours begin to faade
Then the sun showed up. All in all, it was a very nice sunrise.
The ‘mistake-on-the-lake’ today. Our high salaried residents of City Hall are still trying real hard to get $2.5 million of our tax dollars into the hands of the art gallery people. ( see here)
Now they are going to tie $2.5 million to funding from other sources. No outside funding, no $2.5 million. Of course, the only possible outside source of funding is that from other levels of government. Primarily, the Federal Government. Primarily Patty Hajdu.
We all know that she will come through with the cash. Its just a matter of time.
Until then, everyone is pretending. Its all theater.
I believe that the art gallery people and the City of Thunder Bay are in constant communication with our Federal Government representatives about available funding. I believe tthe City of Thunder Bay putting up $2.5 million will be used as a way for our federal representative to argue that any money given to this project will be matched by the City of Thunder Bay. Shows support for the project even if the only financial support for the project are tax dollars taken from the public at the point of a gun.
Nobody agreed to this level of funding using tax dollars. The project is not popular with the taxpaying public. Fund raising efforts have produced diddly squat.
We are pumping millions of tax dollars into the ‘mistake-on-the-lake’ We are also pumping millions of tax dollars into supporting the ‘unhoused/addicted/mentally-ill’ industrial complex. That support will be forever.
We will have to support the ‘unhoused/addicted/mentally-ill’ until they die. Decades. Think about that. Tens of millions of tax dollars. Hundreds of millions of tax dollars over the lifetime of the ‘unhoused/addicted/mentally-ill’ population.
Yes, flowers still bloom but only in certain areas.
Nice clouds
The road to Pool 6. Walking there is like walking on ball-bearings. Its awful.
Why? These are the people that our tax dollars are supporting. The people who do not care about this city at all.
