Think about it. This digital ID will be involved in every part of your life. You will need to present this digital ID to prove who you are. Sounds great. right?
However, unlike an ID that you carry in your wallet, the digital ID can be turned off. Then , you are a non-person. You no longer officially exist.
Who controls the ID controls the people.
This will will give the government the ability to turn off your access to everything. Jobs, banks, groceries, travel, healthcare, education….everything.
Sooo if you piss off someone in government, you are screwed. Trudeau already showed us that governments are more than willing to shut off your access to money.
