Thunder Bay – Sunday

I took two cameras out with me this morning. There was the usual Sony RX10iv. I decided to bring along my Sigma SD Quattro because of its Foveon image sensor.  I want to see if the colours are better in the Sigma or the Sony. First the Sigma.

Not sure what that is. A crumpled paper wrapper of some sort?

Close up of Marigold pettals

Black-eyed Susans

Nice reds. The Sigma does produce nice saturated colours.

Trash in context

Trash with a view. Its nice that somebody left that empty bottle for us all to enjoy.

A view from the top

And they left a can as well. Bonus.

Is this art? Does this door belong in the ‘mistake-on-the-lake’ art gallery when the facility is completed in 2027?  Will people pay to see this door hanging on a wall?  How much would you pay for this door?

I can see it now…people going Oooooo and Ahhhh

This makes me angry.  We, the people that have to buy this stuff with our own money, get to watch as the city’s parasite population who get their stuff for free, just throw it away, after one use or maybe not even used at all.

Another free one is always available.

Flower closeups

Now we are looking at the photos from the Sony. The MV Ratcliffe R Latimer is tied up at the old CN ore dock.

The Thunder Bay Happy Meal.  Water and smokes.

There used to be a tree here.  Now there is just this. No idea if it will ever get fixed or removed or ?
