Lots of smoke today
Orange sun gives smokey sky away
Place yourself in the right spot and you can have some fun
This light is really solar powered
Your morning sky photo
A bathouse has been erected at the Pool 6 pond.
Tent still up at Pool 6. I guess everywhere is OK for camping. At least until a cruise ship shows up.
I like the tree root. Provuides a nice reflection. Birds seem to like it as well.
Still a few left at the Marina Park boat launch. I keep thinking there will be a second bloom.
OK. I am not an expert on undergarments. Looks quite fancy though. Maybe a thong?
Trying to become a landscape photographer. The fireweed provides a nice foreground.
A crash site. Were there any survivors?
Another example of the smokey sky. Notice the Giant has once again gone walkabout.
There was a nice breeze blowing offshore.
Started out with a large family.
Down to two surviving young. Goldeneyes.
Do you think our city’s growing population of urban drinkers are carrying around cores crews? Cartons and bottles with screw on caps are their go to wine containers of choice as far as I can tell. This would be a big step forward in the evolution of the city’s urban drinkers. The use of tools.
Anything can be a trash can in Thunder Bay. Drill holes used to collect soil samples….trash cans.
I believe the biggest reason most people are unhappy with the campers in the city is this. The fact that the areas that the tents are setup become a garbage dump after less than a week. Come fall, when the campers leave and move into their winter quarters, they do not clean up. They just leave everything including the tent.
Once again, a mess.
A low flyby along the waterfront.
Some colour
I can bet that the person who left this did not buy it. You do not buy something and then just abandon it. Free stuff has zero value. It is easily replaced with more free stuff.
BBQ flavoured chips. Not my favourite. If I was going to go beyond plain or ripple, then maybe sour cream and onion?
The plaque explains who donated the Waverley Park fountain and why. It does not mention who donated the can and why.
Nice wildflower.
Nice colour and patterns.
I don’t know why. Looks like a fireworks display to me.
