The stock market and shareholders are what’s wrong with the financial system. When its all about making as much money as possible and not about jobs, then that is a very big problem. Being able to bet against a company’s success is a very big problem.
The stock market needs to be overhauled. The rules need to change. That is where government could make a difference. For the people by the people….
However politicians need money. Its expensive to run an election campaign. Everything revolves around money.
As long as politicians take money from the likes of Blackrock, then nothing will ever change.
We need to get money out of politics. We need to get the stock market working for the workers as well as the shareholders.
Sadly, that will never happen.
