Thunder Bay – Monday – Victoria Day

American Redstart. A Warbler.  In all of my years on this planet, I have never seen one of these.  For some reason, this breed and me have never crossed paths….at least as far as I can remember…which depends on a memory that is not as dependable as it once was.

We made a connection.

More piles have been driven at the site of the Mistake-on-the-Lake

Not sure what for. Stability?

Still hanging around. This goose has not left the pond for weeks.

Tree Swallows sitting o9n the ground.  Strange.  Normally that sit on the hydro line.

Maybe its warmer on the ground. It was freezing this morning.

Lucky shot. Sometimes things work out.

These Tree Swallows were hanging out around the house.

!0 Mile Road Race took place today.  The race was lead by these cyclists…

Then the first runner appeared

Followed by these two. There were around 600? entrants. At least that is what I was told.

These five spectators were very loud.  Enthusiastic supporters of the runners.

Another Warbler.

There are sooo many types.  Could be a Tennessee Warbler. Probably not.
