Clear morning. Going to see the sun today. The usual suspects. Reasonably warm. No wind.
The few clouds that were anywhere near the horizon.
Clouds are moving in from behind the camera. Slowly.
This orange sky was very nice and it lasted a long time.
The sun makes its appearance. Once the sun starts rising to the left of the lighthouse, I will be taking a break from sunrise photos for the summer. I will concentrate on wildlife, plants and landscapes. Once the sun is on its way back toward the lighthouse/giant, I will be back trying to get that perfect sunrise photo. In the fall, there will be open water which will provide nice reflections. Something that is missing when the lake is covered with ice. The fall is the best time for sunrise phots taken from Marina Park.
and so the day begins.
The mistake-on-the-lake’s steel frame is starting to get covered up.

Free tent for anyone who wants it. Just think, someone paid for that tent and gave it to an unhoused/addict/mentally-ill person and they simply discarded it.
I am always amazed when I see an abandoned single shoe. Why? Where is the other shoe?
