The things you see discarded on the streets of Thunder Bay. First thought it was someone sleeping. Notice the grasses planted last year as part of the Court Street/Red River Road north core revitalization project. You can see it in Marina Park as well. Notice how the grass was cut. Why was this done? Turns out that the grass grows fairly tall. Being tall and located at intersections turned out to cause a visibility issue. Yes, one of our city’s Mensa candidates decided that planting vegetation at intersections that inhibits visibility for traffic AND pedestrians was OK. Yes, we are paying for that kind of thinking. Person needs to be fired. We don’t need that kind of thinking in this city. We can’t afford it.
This is the morning sky we have to work with today. At least there is some light.
OK.
Someone decided that the animals need more tomatoes in their diet
We did get some colour over the Current River area
Nice colour on Mount Baldy

Snow geese are still around. The Blue Snow Goose is missing. Has it left?
