The mistake on the lake today
These roses are nearing the end of their first bloom.
Geese were busy turning grass into feces last night. My understanding is the geese we now have here are the result of work done by three local men. It was not that long ago, that there were zero geese on our waterfront. Marina Park had no geese, no goose poop. Life was good for park enthusiasts.
Then along came three local Mensa candidates. They had an idea and they took it to City Hall. They would go to Toronto and bring some geese back here. These geese would be released in several areas of the waterfront. The hope was that the geese would return the following spring. Well the geese sure did return…and they multiplied.
