Thunder Bay – Wednesday

After several days of snow, there was a surprise. A sky that was not covered with a solid grey cloud layer.  The snow had stopped.

And then some colour did appear.

As good as it got.

The sun did appear…briefly.

Nice

Hope you do not need to use of of the Marina Park toilets,  They are very hard to get to.  You have to climb of a substantial snowbank and then work your way through some snow.

How is a pedestrian supposed to get over that wall of snow?  It just not possible for most people.

These button are used by pedestrians.  Push the button and eventually the traffic lights will change to allow you to cross the street.   What happens if you can’t reach the button?

The previously cleared sidewalk is now a serious of obstacles produced by road and parking lot snow clearing operations.

How does one cross this street safely?

Road grader pushes snow onto the sidewalk.  Pedestrians are at the bottom of the transportation food chain in Thunder Bay.  Over a century of snow clearing experience and this is as good as it gets?
