Thunder Bay – Friday – Quitters Day

No sunrise this morning.

Waterfront art gallery construction site

A missed focus produces something colourful.

These tourists from Switzerland picked a bad time to visit Canada.   Not the best time of year for a camping road trip across Canada especially right now with the Polar Vortex hitting the prairies.

I am sure its cozy warm inside of that.  I think it has a diesel heater in it.  Just like the big rigs have.

Interesting cloud formation

Trash in context.  I will be seeing this cup again next spring.

Water bottle photo. Someone took some time placing it here.  Not discarded willy-nilly.

I think it is a cherry tomato, Update:: Jan 13/24  its a small orange.  Someone stepped on it and judging from the jettisoned fruit guts , it is an orange.

Trash in context.  A Tim Hortens cup. What are the odds. I remember a time when coffee shops were virtually non-existent.  The Maine Cafe and Country-Style Donuts.  You wanted a coffee, you went in, sat down and drank it.   People also brewed coffee at home.  Used a vacuum bottle such as a Thermos or Stanley to take coffee to work. For some reason, brewing coffee at home to go is just too much work even though its cheaper and the coffee is better.
