How is building EVs that absolutely huge doing anything to help the environment? Over two tonnes of material produced using fossil-fuel.
Remember back in the day when Japanese cars first came to the North American market? They were popular. Why? They were small and affordable. Fuel economy was great. People loved them.
If the world is on the verge of climate catastrophe, why are we still producing these giants? You do not need vehicles this size to drive to and from work. To drive to and from shops.
The same goes for houses. Why are we building houses that would have been considered mansions only a couple of decades ago. How can these houses ever be affordable? The larger the house, the more material and labour is required. This increases the price.
What people need is relatively small core floor Ranch style house. Two or three functionally-sized bedrooms, a kitchen/dining room. a living room and a bathroom. Maybe a carport instead of a garage. That’s it.
Single floor. These houses may be affordable.
