Thunder Bay – Sunday – International Day Of Rural Women

I don’t have much hope for much of a sunrise this morning. Lots of cloud cover.

Down at the former Pool 6 site this morning. Just for a change.

About as colourful as it got.

The city is full of poets.  Hopefully, the new” net carbon neutral”  waterfront art gallery will have a section where these poets can display their work. Maybe have them recite their poetry in person.  Not exactly my style of poetry but these youngster have different tastes. The art gallery must be inclusive.

Not sure what is going on here at the Water Street transit terminal.  Not an ad. At least its not bare plywood.

I really like the work done on the plywood on the Lyceum Building.  If something is going to be covered in plywood, then having that plywood painted makes a big difference.

Compared to this. This looks like crap and hurts all of the other businesses around.  Our high salaried residents of City Hall need to do something about this.  Pass a bylaw.  Make it expensive for the building owner to NOT do something.

Flower planters are not just for flowers. They are used as trash cans as well.

A sock bush.  This bush produces black socks.   This sock is ripe.  If it does not get harvested soon, it will end up rotting.

More discarded something. Is it a piece of clothing?  Hard to say. I ain’t touching it to check. Its full of cooties.

A closeup of one of the old streetcar tracks that was dug up at the Red River Road and Court Street intersection.

Court Street intersection today.  Hopefully the whole project will be completed by the end of the month.    You don’t want to be paving in November.

Looks like some urban pixies were busy last night.

Seriously?   How does one get into it?  It just does not look stable.

Chair watch continues. Still there.

What is still on site is the cart used to transport the chair. Looks like it belongs to the Wholesale Club. What is it doing here?
