Looks like there will be an OK sunrise but I don’t expect anything great. Still, even an ordinary sunrise is still a sight to behold.

Peach drink bottle. Lots of sugar. Better off eating the peach.
Court Street intersection so far.
Might be time to remove these?
OK. This type of thing REALLY pisses me off and so should it you. This section of Court Street was constructed only a few years ago. For some reason TbayTel and Synergy North could not find the time to replace the old poles. Poles that obviously needed replacement. Had the companies, both owned by the taxpayers of the City of Thunder Bay, replaced these poles back then, then they would not have to worry about working in and around these tiles that were installed on the boulevard. I am sure that some will be damaged and I doubt care will be taken when replacing the tiles that were removed.
PLUS and this is a very big PLUS, the contractor could have removed the old pole stumps under the road contractor. Now, I fully expect the old pole stumps to remain in place for all of eternity, just lie the hundreds like them all over the city.
Get used to seeing this sight. The old pole is going nowhere.
Look, when there is a road contract planned, then the utility companies need to do their work BEFORE the road contract starts. THAT is the natural order. You don’t build a new road and then dig it up to do work that could have been easily done first.
and of course, There were issues with these valves right from day one. They were sticking way to much out of the ground. Cones had to be placed on them all winter just so the sidewalk plow would not shear them off.
There is still flowers blooming.
Nice.
