Got up early and made it down to the waterfront before the sunrise. The sky did not look promising buy you never know. Conditions can change quickly.

Looks like workers at the site of the “mistake on the lake” are constructing concrete forms. A concrete pour or two is in the near future.

I often wonder why recycling bins are not present in the downtown cores. Lots of recycle eligible material goes to the landfill instead of the recycling depot.

The city had these bump-outs installed on previous Court Street road construction projects. Vegetation was planted. However, they are not regularly maintained. Over time, they become full of weeds and trash.
Not sure why this is here. Was it left here for the garbage truck to take away?
