OK, Pier 2. There are three of these things. Not sure what they are but they are classified as public art sooo what they are is subjective. Its art. Anyway, if you look down one of the art pieces, you get this view. Take a long look.
Imagine if the art piece was located over a little to the right so that the view was more symmetrical.
Or the art piece was located a few metres to the left and there was this view. Once again, more symmetrical.
Soo let’s compare…this is what is there right now

I believe that instead of just installing them willy nilly, some thought should have been given to what people will see when using the art piece.
Your brain loves symmetry.
There are three of these things on Pier 2. All of them could have been installed taking the view in account.
Work is slow down on the “mistake on the lake”. The pace of construction is controlled by the pace of engineering/design.
