Sooo, never charge an EV inside. Always outside. Never leave any lithium powered device that is charging unattended. If you leave, unplug the recharger.
As things are now, buying an EV does not make sense. It may never make financial sense.
Fossil fuels will be around for a long time yet. There are tens of billions of ICE powered vehicles on this planet. They ain’t going away anytime soon.
You don’t see the people who run the world dumping their fossil fueled vehicle or aircraft. Nobody is dumping their stocks in fossil fuel corporations.
