Thunder Bay – Saturday

There was a sun in the morning sky.  It was going in and out of clouds.  It was very orange.

Seeing all this stuff that is destined to be deposited in the landfill makes me wonder why I even bother recycling.  Why bother when sooo many others do not.  The trash is very colourful though.  I will give you that.

This can also be a water bottle photo.

Noticed this on Dew Drop Inn, St. Andrews Catholic Church, turf.  The north core is yellowbagger territory.  Are we going to see a food bank war?  I will have to keep an eye on this.

Trash in context.  Very colourful.

The ants have discovered a gold mine of food here.  PLUS, they are sheltered from the elements.

Big day down at Pool 6.

Coast Guard  and Maritime History Day.  Free tours on the Alexander Henry and Samuel Risley.

The site of the mistake on the lake.  The photo is not exactly what I was trying to get but then I was shooting through a chain link fence.

Someone hauled this out of the water?  Some TLC and a few new parts and it will be as good as new.

Just how much rest is this duck getting?

The distant clouds look like waves.

The sky showed some signs of colour.

Twins. the MV Andean and MV Blacky.

Brewha site today

How many days a year does that big stage get used?  Maybe 10?   It cost how much?

Community events that need a stage this are Canada Day and…..well that’s it.  Live on the Waterfront?  A small stage like you see set up for the Brewha is big enough.  The Bluesfest?  Well that is not a community event.  They charge a very high entry fee when and if it ever returns.   The Bluesfest people  can arrange renting a big stage.

The only reason we have the big stage is because the purchase was mainly funded by others, including the Federal and Provincial governments which I must remind you hands out money taken from taxpayers at the point of a gun.  Ontario Power?  Where do they get their money from?   Maybe it should have been spent on something else?

Big enough

Trash in context. Why throw it in the trash when its sooo much easier to just leave it. Even though there is a trash can only 10 steps away?

I have seen one cram four into its mouth.

Looks ominous.

Never heard of the stuff. A Caribbean soft drink. Canadian company Coott Corp. produces and distributes it here in Canada
