Ready for a concrete pour
Any future backhoe purchases made by the city of Thunder Bay should include rubber tracked machines. The metal tracks presently found on the city’s backhoes make a big mess out existing asphalt. Rubber tracks do not. Something to think about. The contractor’s small backhoe pictured above, has rubber tracks.
Still working on this. I know there is a good photo here somewhere.
A new piece of public art that i noticed down at the Pool 6 site. It demonstrates how the public is blocked from accessing almost the entire waterfront of the city. Most waterfront property is industrial a nd privately owned.
The city brags about having 52 kms of waterfront. It does not mention exactly how many of those kms are accessible by the public. When it comes to the Lake Superior shoreline, that number is very small.
Cruise ship will be here later on this afternoon.
MV Iryda
Is this a shirt? Not sure. Looks pretty clean.
Yellow warbler
This project has come to a complete halt. Nothing has happened for weeks.
Almost directly overhead. I think it was an Air Canada flight heading west.
The CCGS Samuel Risley is in town
Guessing game. What’s in the bottle? Urine or Ice tea?
Looks like two full cans of spaghettis sauce.
Before Freshco, there was Safeway.
Really great camping spot. As you can see, several avid campers have taken up residence on the pint. Still some sites open. Hurry down. Free camping right on the lakeshore. You won’t find a better deal anywhere.
Yellowbagger was here. Maybe one of the McVicar Creek campers?
Water bottle photo
and then there is today’s AI art piece…
