Interesting. Street cleaner removed everything larger than silt. The silt got washed into the gutter. Dried and then this happened. Looks like paper but its a thin coat of mud.

Trash in context. An empty Pepsi bottle. I expect this to be here for quite while. Its very difficult to see.
Work is being done on the viewing circle at the end of Pier 2. All of that plastic permeable paving grid. Its used to stabilize the soil in heavy traffic areas and driveways. It failed in its job almost immediately.
It has been an issue everywhere it was installed.
This was covered in the plastic grid. That was then covered in grass sod. It has all been removed now. Is it going to be covered in carpet or is this granular layer it?
and then there is the whole granite bench thing. I still do not understand the placement. I am all about symmetry. Symmetry is something that you notice. Its pleasing to the eye.
