Thunder Bay – Thursday

A mild overcast morning. No spectacular sunrise today.

The joys of being a pedestrian in Thunder Bay

All quiet in the park.

As good as its going to get today

Festive lighting  but its only a parking lot

This park street is not very old. These cracks appeared only a year or so after construction

The waterfront art gallery. Notice that there is no acknowledgement to the tens of thousands of Thunder Bay citizens who donated cash towards the construction of this $40 million, likely more than $50 million when all is said and done, building.  The reason for this omission is that there was never tens of thousands of Thunder Bay citizens donating cash towards the construction of the art gallery.  There was almost zero public financial support.  Any money from governments should be tied to local fundraising. Matching funds. Something like 1:1. 2:1. 3:1. That would require a buy-in by the local population. The people of Thunder Bay need to show they want this. They need skin in the game.  That is missing here.

Snow sculpture area today. Boxes have been filled with snow.

What does this mean?  Does this drink suck?  It must suck.

Typical Thunder Bay litter. Coffee and beer.

Someone live here?

Looking for colour wherever I can find it

and then there is today’s AI art piece…what is behind ChatGPT?
