Thunder Bay – Monday

Big Dig this morning.  Not much change over the weekend.

Morning sky photo

Starting to see more bees now so I can work on my bee photography

Ahhhh yes.  I am in Thunder Bay now. Why is this here?  Well I can think of two scenarios. The first one is that boaters left their trash in bags OUTSIDE of the trash can which of course, was attacked by birds looking for an easy meal. Gulls and crows. The second is that the trash bags were deposited INSIDE the trash can but were pulled out by dumpster divers looking for cans and bottles that can be returned for the refund.  The bags were then left outside and were attacked by birds looking for an easy meal.

Either way, we are looking at some Grade A POSs.  Park staff will be left with the task of cleaning this mess up.  Lucky them.  If it were up to me, I’d just let the trash pile up.  We would then have the park this city deserves.

Hmmm…corn

Another partially eaten apple.

Could hurt a gull.  A gull could swallow this easily.  Crows are pretty smart.  They might peck away at it to see what it is.  A gull will swallow it whole.

Another plastic straw.  Somebody is dishing out plastic straws.  I thought that was a no no.

Trash in context.  A glass bottle.  They need to make a comeback.  I thought it was a great system. Deposit on every bottle. Bottles were returned for the refund.  Charities had bottle drives to earn money.

Glass bottles were cleaned, refilled and ended up back on store shelves.

Looking for colour wherever I can find it

Would look much cooler at night

Least Skipper?

Not exactly the location for the movie Sound of Music  but still stunning in its own way.
