Thunder Bay – Monday

If you are old enough, you might remember just how great spring and summer weather used to be. Now those are the ‘good old days’.  Nobody is going to write a song called Those  Lazy. Hazy, Crazy Days Of Summer with the weather we have had so far this year.  All I want is a great summer to enjoy before being locked up because of monkeypox this fall.  Is that too much to ask?

Not sure what was thrown into this trash can but its leaking out of the bottom. I did not smell it or taste it so I have no idea what it is.

The calm before the storm.

This skunk was being harassed by crows, red-winged blackbirds and tree swallows. All birds united against this skunk.  There was no place for it to go. No place for it to hide.  It had to keep running until it got out of the birds’ territory. The birds were not afraid of getting sprayed.

Hmmm…Russian Oligarch’s yacht hiding from the sanctioning authorities?

MV Manitoulin arriving in Thunder Bay. Did not cause as much excitement as the arrival of the cruise ship this past weekend.  No media frenzy even though this ship is just as big.

Changing look of sky leading up to the storm

Its coming

and then it poured. and there was hail.

a bar of soap and a person could have easily taken a shower in that downpour.
