Thunder Bay – Thursday

Mask photo

Tough day for photography. Overcast and snow.

Nothing to see out there

Looking for colour in a bleak snow covered world.

These skinny windrows of snow between the sidewalk and street are a joke.  They are examples of how little our high salaried residents of City Hall consider snow removal when design/constructing  streets.  If those street lights were moved to the other side of the sidewalk, the sidewalk can be cleared of snow by the grader clearing snow from the street. The snow would get pushed to the other side of the sidewalk.  No sidewalk plow required.

Moving the street lights further away from the street is also safer.

Looks stupid.  Poor design.

Windy, cold and snowy out on that ship.

Wind blowing snow across ice.

These magic cones have seen better days.
